Bio
I am a lifelong athlete that is constantly looking for new challenges and enjoy sharing my passion for endurance sports with others. While earning a mechanical engineering degree at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth I was a captain on the Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Teams. After graduating, I started working as an engineer and added swimming and cycling to my list of hobbies. It wasn’t long before I was on my way to completing my first iron distance triathlon. I found that each of the disciplines in triathlon offer an outlet to challenge myself, find happiness, and live a healthy life. I hope that my passion and participation in the sport empowers others to find something in their life which offers those same opportunities to them.
Inspirations
I am inspired by the mothers and father’s in the world that wake up every day to give their children the best possible life they can have and still find the time and energy to tend to their own needs, goals, and dreams.
I am inspired by those who found the courage to challenge themselves to toe the starting line beside me.
I am inspired by those who have tried and failed but will not quit trying.
I am inspired by those who once thought what they were about to do was impossible as they cross the finish line.
